Shirley Stoops Shirley May (Baumgartner) Stoops, 82, of Parkersburg, passed away December 22, 2018 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born in Vienna, WV April 30, 1936 a daughter of the late George Baumgartner and Edith (Beaver). Shirley is survived by nine children, Franklin McCune of WV, Tammy Johnson (Mark) of Greensboro, NC, James Keel of OH, Bill Keel (Denise) of OH, Jane Davis (Matt) of Parkersburg, Danny Keel of Parkersburg, Herman Keel (Beverly) of Parkersburg, Jeremy Keel of OH, and Christopher Keel of Parkersburg, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, brother, George Baumgartner of OH, sister, Hazel Postlewaite of Parkersburg, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donza Casto Stoops, daughter, Mary Ellen Keel, son, Robert McCune, sister, Freda Lamp, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Service will be held Thursday 4:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with pastor Jerry Sowers officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 at the funeral home.
