William Norris Shedd Jr., 54, of Parkersburg passed away December 21, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born on June 15, 1964 in Charleston, WV and was the son of William Norris Shedd Sr. and the late Darlena Harman Shedd. William worked as a process technician for NOVA Chemicals for several years.

He was a huge sports fanatic, serving his community as coach in many different sports, especially with Parkersburg South High School athletics. Surviving William is his father William Shedd Sr., loving wife Christi Cowan Shedd, two sons Billy and Brent Shedd and one grandson Landon Shedd. He was preceded in death by his mother Darlena Harman Shedd and sister Delena Shedd.

A gathering of friends and family to celebrate William’s life will be held 3-6 PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Leavitt Family Center, Parkersburg. Per his request, William donated his body to the WVU School of Medicine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Foundation P.O. Box 912, Salado, Texas 76571.
