Harold “Bob” Walker Harold Robert “Bob” Walker, 72, of Washington, WV passed away on November 4, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born in Charleston, WV on June 10, 1946, a son of the late Harold Wallace (Wally) Walker and Opal Mae (Kees) Walker. Bob was a member of the Washington United Methodist Church.

He was a 1964 graduate of East Bank High School and earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology in 1969. Bob began his engineering career at E.I. DuPont in Martinsville, Va. and retired from Borg Warner/ GE after 28 years of service in 2001.

He was very active in the GE Elfun Group and Borg Warner/GE golf leagues as well as involvement in various community projects through GE. He was a huge fan of West Virginia University sports and loved playing golf, pranking his friends and family, camping, and hunting with his sons. During his retirement years he traveled extensively with his wife and friends to locations through the world.

Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Vicki Lynn (James) Walker of Washington, WV, two sons, David Walker (Carrie) of Parkersburg and Andrew “Andy” Walker also of Parkersburg; five grandchildren, Megan Walker, Ian McNally, Evan McNally, Cole Day and Dylan Day; two great-grandchildren, Brylon McNally and Kemper McNally; one niece, Melody Reeves and sister-in-law Vanessa Walker of Gallagher, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Walker. A celebration of life will be Tuesday 3:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg.

Visitation will be on hour prior to service at the funeral home.
