Paul L. Riser, 87, of Walker, WV died November 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 24, 1931 in Eatons, WV a son of the late Charles M. and Ida May Riser. He formerly worked for Warner Pontiac and was a member of Progress Ridge Community Association.

He is survived by five children, Rodney Riser of Parkersburg, Bonita Breitmeier of Monterville, WV, Sandy Boyles of Fort Mills, SC, Lisa Hartley of Parkersburg, Christina Townsend of Walker; ten grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and one sister, Jane Tonkington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Hitt Riser; six brothers, Earl, George, Marl, Walter, Melvin and Oakey Riser; five sisters, Rosie Cantwell, Martha Morrison, Nata Carr, Lola Harris and Mary Coss. Services will be Tuesday 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.

Burial will follow at Cooley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.
