Matthew Clayton Greer of Marthaville, Louisiana January 28, 1985 – January 16, 2019 Funeral services for Matthew Clayton Greer, 33, of Marthaville, LA, will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Freeman and Rev. Rickey Robertson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Spring Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 3:00 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Matthew Clayton Greer was born on Monday, January 28, 1985 in Shreveport, LA.

He passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, W. C. “Wolf” Greer; and paternal grandmother, Della Clodeal Greer. He is survived by his wife, Amber Nicole Greer of Marthaville, LA; son, Matthew Clayton Greer, Jr. of Marthaville, LA; daughter, Kyleigh Nicole Greer of Marthaville, LA; parents, Kevin Clayton Greer of Marthaville, LA and Rene’ Carol Greer of Marthaville, LA; sister, Bridgette Phelps and husband Adam of Marthaville, LA; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Misty Edwards of Grand Cane, LA; maternal grandparents, Roger Anders and Chris Anders of Pleasant Hill, LA; nephews: Elliott Phelps of Marthaville, LA, Gavin Phelps of Marthaville, LA and Kason Edwards of Grand Cane, LA; niece, Sidda Jean Edwards of Grand Cane, LA; special friends: Johnna Little of Bastrop, LA, Julie Frazier of Pleasant Hill, LA and Wesley Greer of Sequin, TX; along with a host of friends.

Pallbearers: Michael Downs, Lee Greer, Jessie Lee Greer, Charlie Edwards, Dawson Hardy, Colton Hardy, Braylon Hardy and Wesley Greer. Honorary Pallbearers: Adam Phelps, Adam Greer, Wayne Greer, Dalton Stockton and Cody Rutherford.
