Matty Pearl Geary Bratcher, 79, of Beaver Dam passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019. She was born in Ohio county on March 24, 1939 to the late Robert Geary and Sally Ann Evans Geary. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Vernon Bratcher, siblings, Rose Maiden, Faye Naue, Helen Geary, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Matty is survived by her children, Darla (Johnny) Heflin, Susie (Mark) Filback, her sons, Ronnie (Gradaphene) Daugherty, Chuck Bratcher, Joey (Jaujauna) Bratcher, her grandchildren: Jonathan Heflin, Candace Heflin, Heather Filback, Erica Filback, Mark Filback, Jordan Filback, Kacia Tank, Patrick Daugherty, Betsy Baldwin, Preston Hayden, Loren Felty, Caitlen Bratcher, Seth Bratcher, Sarah Bratcher; many great-grandchildren, her sisters, Anna Filmore, Sandy Phelps, Kay Kassinger, her brothers, Ronnie Geary of Morgantown, Bill Geary of Horse Branch, and Ray Geary. Services will be 1:00 pm Monday, March 25, 2019 at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home, with John Raymond and John Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Zion’s Harmony Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, and again from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
