Max C. Hemminger, 93, of Burlington, died at 1:20 AM Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at the Morning Sun Care Center. Born January 20, 1926, in Burgoon, OH, he was the son of Ralph Louis and Bertha Isabel Donnel Hemminger. He worked as a land surveyor for private companies.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during the World War II from March 22, 1944 until December 10, 1947. Survivors include two sons, Max Hemminger, Jr. of Pearce, AZ and Bobby Lee Hemminger of Florida and one daughter, Cynthia Hemminger of Utah. Max was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.
