Obituary for Melinda Hobbs Burdeshaw Melinda Hobbs Burdeshaw, 73, of Marietta died Wednesday October 17th. A private graveside service will be held by the family at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Melinda was born at Crawford W. Long Hospital in Atlanta December 4, 1944.

She grew up in the Griffin, GA area and graduated from Griffin High School in 1962. Melinda also attended and graduated from the Macon School of Medical Technology. She is a past member of the Junior League of Cobb/Marietta, and Marietta Country Club.

Melinda is survived by her husband of 54 years Bruce Burdeshaw, her son Chip Burdeshaw, daughters Andrea Legg and Susan Hostetler. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Elizabeth Hobbs and her brother Jimmy Hobbs.
