Obituary for Melissa Ann Minnick Melissa Ann Minnick, 48, of Bassett passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at SOVAH Health Martinsville. She was born June 16, 1969 in Martinsville, Virginia. She worked for The Greene Company as a manufacturing coordinator.

She was of the Baptist faith. She loved her dog and had an intoxicating laugh. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Kitzmiller; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Vera Young; paternal grandparents, Keyes and Grace Kitzmiller; and one aunt, Barbara Young.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Minnick of the home; mother, Sharon Young Belcher and husband Teddy; one daughter, Leigh Ann Minnick and fiancée, James Foley; one son, B.J. Minnick; one brother, Robert Kitzmiller and wife Julie; half-brother, Blake Kitzmiller and wife Katie; half-sister, Lori K. Herndon and husband Josh; nieces, Ashley and Hayden Kitzmiller; nephew, Colton Kitzmiller; aunt, Sonya Foley and husband Bruce; uncles, Rick Kitzmiller and wife Stephanie, David Kitzmiller, and Randy Kitzmiller; and cousins, Tosha Foley, Jaime Biggs and Todd Shelton. A memorial service will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
