Obituary for Merri Ann Lambert (Hite) Mrs. Merri Ann Hite Lambert, age 51 passed away peacefully at Hospice of Southern WV in Beckley, WV on Friday, January 18, 2019. Her roots ran deep between West Virginia and North Carolina, but she always wanted her final resting place to be in NC. The family will receive friends Friday, January 25 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home.
A graveside service will follow at 2 pm at Carolina Memorial Park. Merri was born March 16, 1967 in San Antonio, TX, a daughter of the late Steven S. Hite, Sr. and Anita Reid Hite. She enjoyed doing things out of doors and spending time at the beach.
Merri also loved to cook, visits with her large family and just being a mom to her children. Left to cherish Merri’s memory are her children, Jenna Marie Lambert and Justin Keith Lambert, of Mt. Hope, WV and Ethan Franklin Jenkins of Shelby, NC; siblings, Diana Kincaid, Brenda Kozart, Jeni Gibbey and Steve Hite; granddaughter, Raine Pack; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
