Minister Micheal Jerome Lang departed this life on Sunday, April 22, 2018 in Chatom, AL. He was born July 7, 1974 to Billy and Roxie Middleton Lang in Monroeville, Micheal was 43 years of age. He was a Class of 1992 graduate of Monroe County High School in Monroeville, AL.

He was a member of the Stonewall Baptist Church in Chatom, AL and worked as an equipment operator in a lumber mill. Michael loved music, playing both the guitar and keyboard in several churches. He was an avid Auburn Tiger fan.

Min. Micheal leaves to forever cherish his memory his two sons, Khalil (Savannah) Lang and Brandon Lang, both of Jackson, AL; a granddaughter, Rae Leigh Lang, Jackson, AL; mother Min. Roxie Middleton of Monroeville; father , Bill (Patricia) Lang of Moss Point, Miss.

, two step brothers, Jerome Bernard Williams, Jr., of Germany and Brandon Taiwan Williams, of Pascagoula, Miss; two stepsisters, Lynetta Hayes and Priscilla Nathan both of Pascagoula, Miss. , god-sister Amanda Finklea of Mexia; god-brother, Overseer Darious (Evette) Chapman of St. Stephens; with a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Public viewing will be from 1 until 5 p.m., Friday April 27, at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home, 203 East Ross St., Jackson AL 36545 Viewing on Saturday, April 28, will be from 11 a.m. until the 12-noon service at Mt.

Olive No. 2 Baptist Church 105 Griffin Street in Jackson. The Rev.

Stevenson E. Tullis pastor, with Overseer Darious Chapman as the eulogist. Interment will follow at Mexia AOH Church Cemetery in Mexia. Final life celebration has been entrusted to Jackson Memorial Funeral Home, 203 East Ross St., Jackson AL 36545.
