Mildred Ruth Manis, 103 years and 7 months, passed away May 18, 2018 in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born October 6, 1914 in England Arkansas. She was a retired shoe factory worker, seamstress, and member of Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd Lux and Charlotte Katherine Miller Venable; her husband of 52 years, Fred Manis; siblings, John, Dan, Marji, Allen, Buck Marion, and Alvin Venable and Anna Laura Venable Evans; great grandson, Eric Chad Manis and great granddaughter, Jordan Murphy. She is survived by her children, Betty Neukan of Maumelle, C.W. Manis (Carol Jean) of DeWitt, Marion Manis (Kay) of Searcy, and Charlotte Murphy of DeWitt; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and fourteen great great grandchildren. Graveside services are 11:00 am Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Cedarcrest Cemetery in DeWitt under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Care with grandsons, Rev.
