EDGERTON—Mineta J. “Moe” Egerstaffer, age 89, of Edgerton and Janesville, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Mercyhealth Hospital & Trauma Center. She was born In Birchwood, WI, on Sept. 14, 1928, the daughter of Delbert and Wilma (Grasley) Olmstead.

Moe married Joseph L. Egerstaffer on Sept. 4, 1948, in Rice Lake and he preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1993.

She enjoyed needlepoint, canvas art, fishing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her 6 children: Linda Berg… Read More » of Janesville; Edward (Patty) Egerstaffer of Knoxville, TN, Mary (Richard) Miller, Delbert (Laura) Egerstaffer, Terri (Mike) Nottestad and Cindy (Brian) Gurney all of Edgerton; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a brother, Leo Olmstead. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 daughters: Laura, Janet, and Sally; a son, Arnold; 2 grandsons, Joshua and John; and by a brother, Arnold Olmstead.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 315 Lord St. (Hwy 51) Edgerton. Ed Kaufman will preside and burial will be in Fassett Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME, and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
