Obituary for Mrs Lois Roberson Willett Lois Roberson Willett, 93, of Owensboro, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 16, 2018 at her home under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born on July 16, 1924 in Muhlenberg County, KY to the late Arlie Roberson and Julia E. McAbee Roberson. Lois was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her family.

She also enjoyed reading when she was able. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Willett who passed away in 2000, and her daughter Melba Jean “Babe” Taylor passed away in 2001. Lois is survived by her children Terry Willett of Utica, KY and Arlene (Bill) Sommerville of Cosby, TN, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her siblings Elvie Lee (Shirley) Roberson of Owensboro, KY and Sharon (Reban) Boone of Madisonville, KY. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with burial to follow at Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
