Nancy’s Obituary Nancy (Young) Merritt, 90, of Camillus passed away on Tuesday at Iroquois Nursing Home. Born in Syracuse to Gould and Ruth Young, she had lived in Camillus for the past 65 years. Nancy had been a bluebird and brownie leader, and more recently a volunteer for Echo Meals on Wheels.

She is predeceased by her husband, Edward “Dewey” Merritt, her son Eric E. Merritt, sister, Margaret Di Gianfrancesco and son-in-law, Joel Forger. Surviving are her daughters, Lisa (Ron) Carrigan and Laurie Forger, two grandsons, Ben Carrigan and Kyle Forger and two nephews. At Nancy’s request, there will be no services.
