Norma Jean Spires Hoover June 29,1931-November 5, 2018 Norma Jean Spires Hoover passed away at her daughters home surrounded by family on November 5, 2018. She was born to the late Alfred and Marie Music Persinger in Bournesville, Ohio. She was a graduate of McClain High School and retired from Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

She enjoyed spending her time camping, reading and watching The Ohio State Buckeyes. She is survived by her children, Sandra (Donald) Watson of Jeffersonville, Harold Spires and his companion Bobby Pitzer of Grenfield, Amy (Eddie) Hoover of Missouri, Benjamin (Carol) Hoover of Georgia. A sister Patricia ( Gary ) Duncan of Zanesville, brother John (Karen) of Florida.

11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews. High school friend, Millie Penwell and a special friend Linda Loyd.

Besides her parents, she was preceeded in death by husbands, Paul E. Spires and James Hoover. Sisters, Virginia Kirsch and Mary Scarberry both of Greenfield. Daughter Linda Hanners Lee.

Services will be held Friday November 9 -, 2018 at the Morrow Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, Ohio. Visitation 11-1 with funeral service to follow. Burial wil be at the Silvercreek Cemetary of Jamestown.
