Obituary for Olga Agnes Presa Olga Agnes Presa, 91 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, surrounded by her loving family Born Friday, January 21, 1927 in Georgetown, Guyana. Olga was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria DaSilva. Born and raised in Guyana, Olga would move to the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn in 1949.
Eventually she would meet the love of her life, Anthony Presa, and the two would marry. They would raise their family in Brooklyn, before moving to Old Bridge in 1988. Olga was a devout Catholic, she was a Eucharistic Minister at the Resurrection Church in Brooklyn, and sang in the Imperial Choir in South River.
Olga worked as a Home Health Care Aide for 35 years. She truly enjoyed taking care of her family, friends, and anyone that was in need. Olga enjoyed sewing, and was an excellent cook.
Olga will be missed by all those that loved her. Olga was predeceased by her beloved husband of 39 years, Anthony, who passed away in 1996. Olga is survived by her loving children, Domenick Presa, Joseph A. Presa , and Jeanine DaSilva She was the fond mother in law to MaryAnn, MaryEllen and Dee.
Adorded grandmother of, Joseph A. Presa Jr, Melissa Presa, Christopher Presa, and Marc Presa. She is also survived by her cherished great grandson, Alvin Moore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday at Saint Ambrose Church located at 83 Throckmorton Ln Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857.
Entombment will be in Holmdel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, June 1, 2018, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
