Obituary of Patricia Lynn Brigham Patricia Lynn Brigham, 58, of Esville, our loving, fun, and devoted wife, step-mother, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life on September 14, 2018 at her home. Pat was born in Bay City on August 3, 1960, the daughter of the late Lawrence McDermott and Gail (Guindon) Zielinski. Patty graduated from Handy High School and Bayshire Beauty Academy in 1978.

She worked as a hairdresser for over 40 years. Pat was also known as “Pat in the Hat” for always wearing hat. In 2004, Patty met the love of her life, Jerry Brigham, at Hooligan’s during their Thursday Steak Night.

They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on September 8, 2006. Together they co-owned Shaker Racing, a snowmobile race team – a sport she loved. She was an avid reader, a bigtime boat enthusiast, and a fantastic artist – working mostly with charcoal and pencil.

Patty was the life of party and you knew when she was in the room, she will be missed dearly but lovingly remembered for generations to come. Pat leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 12 years, Jerry; and step-son Shaun Brigham. Her loving sisters, Kathie (Mick) Bauer and Donna (Jim) Klida, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was welcomed home to heaven by her step-daughter Kelly Ann Bolen, and nephew, Rich Ford. Patty’s family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 12:00 Noon until Pat’s 4:00 PM Funeral Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd. , Hampton Twp.

Reverend Erwin Hutter will officiate with private internment to take place in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.
