Obituary of Patricia Betterton Doyle Patsy died on Friday August 31, 2018. She was born on August 15, 1945 at home in Cokesbury, MD near Pocomoke. She was the daughter of the late Hattie and Clinton Hurley.

Patsy retired from the state highway administration in Worcester County. She is thought of a as a loving kind and sweet person. She is survived by her loving husband, Bob Doyle; son, Jim Betterton and her daughter-in-law Tammy Betterton; step children Matthew (Stacy), Andy (Bobby Jo) and Doyle Ray; grandchildren, Kristen, Jessica, Logan, Hayley, Benjamin, Jacob, Zachary, Courtney, Rebecca, Steve (Alyssa) Larry, Catherine and Deanna; great grandchildren, Savannah, Ethan, Jaxon, Caylee, and Caleb.

She is also survived by her siblings, Dicky (Ann), Danny (Judy), Connie Bozman (Howard); sister in law, Rosalie Hurley and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Pat was preceded in death by her first husband Kenneth Betterton; a son, David Betterton, a sister Dorothy Bloxom (C.W.) and brothers, Lee (Shirley), Kenneth and George Hurley. Bob and the family would like to extend a special thank you to her care givers, Tammy Stigall and Pat Ruark as they cared for Pat as if she was one of their own family members.

A service will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 2pm at the Olivet Christian Church, Honeywell Rd and Whitesburg Rd, Eden MD. There will be a visitation prior to the service, from 1-2. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Coastal Hospice PO Box 1733 Salisbury, MD 21804.
