OBITUARY Gary “Steve” Steven White April 22, 1966 – October 24, 2018 Gary Steven “Steve” White, 52, of Delmar passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Salisbury he was the son of Gary and Pauline White. Steve worked as a Truck Driver for Southern States in Dagsboro and was a part-time driver for Pritchett Transportation.

He was a member of Pittsville Full Gospel Church in Pittsville. He was a loving and devoted husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family, history, and reading. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Penny White; daughter, Preslea White; aunts and uncles, Donnie and Sue Davis of Delmar, MD, Rebecca Taylor White of Salisbury, Phillip and Martha White of North Carolina, Sharon and Billy Ennis of Princess Anne, and Greg and Jamie White of Pennsylvania; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rusty and Linda Baker of Gumboro, DE and Chris and Brenda Rufer of Millsboro, DE; two nieces, Lindsey Baker Baldwin and Carrie Rufer; two nephews, Matt Baker and Kyle Rufer and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his uncles, Emory “Buddy” Davis and David White and father-in-law and mother-in-law Essell “Pete” Baker and Doris Catherine Baker. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Pastor Linda Lane will officiate.
