Obituary for Patrick Dewey Plankers Patrick Dewey Plankers, age 53, of Demopolis, Alabama passed away on July 1, 2018 at his residence. Born October 15, 1964 in Texas, Patrick was retired U. S. Coast Guard, member of the Honor Guard and American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was also a member of a motorcycle group.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Plankers; and grandparents, Scelstine and Leland Creel and Dewey and Lorraine Plankers. He is survived by his mother, Elsie Langley of Taylorsville; two sons, Cody Plankers of Tuscaloosa, AL and Taylor Plankers of Gonzales, LA; brother, Michael Leland Plankers (Karen) of Alexander, AK; sisters, Vickie Barnett of Taylorsville and Jodie Robinson (Dennis) of Taylorsville; four nephews, Drake Plankers, Jeremy Strickland, Sammy Strickland, and Jonathan Robinson; and one niece, Alexis Dykes. Services will be held at Memory Chapel on Sunday, July 8th.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and the service will follow at 2 p.m. Rev. Tommy Shields will officiate. Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10th.
