Obituary for Luna Rae Valentine Luna Rae Valentine, age 88, born September 8, 1930 in Stringer, MS, passed away on September 26, 2018 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. Mrs. Valentine was employed with Community Bank where she worked as a teller prior to her retirement. She was a member of Soso First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Deavours Valentine and parents, Julius O. and Eunice Welborn Lowe. Survivors include her daughter, Sheridan Valentine of Germany; granddaughter, Alison Petro of Birmingham, AL; and sister, Evelyn Williamson of Soso. Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel on Sunday, September 30th at 12:30 p.m. with graveside services to follow at Union Line Cemetery at 2 p.m. Rev.
