Obituary for Ruby Lee Knight Ruby Lee Knight, age 94, passed away on September 6, 2018 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. Funeral services will be held at Memory Chapel on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 3 p.m. with interment to follow at Myrick Cemetery. Bro.

Sam Simpson and Bro. Roy Dill will officiate. Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel on Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Frank Slay, Jody Buchanan, Drew Walters, Thomas Knight, Jesse Knight, Billy Knight, and SSgt Robert Knight.

Mrs. Knight retired from the Jones County School System. She will be remembered as a very loved teacher at Northeast School. She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa and First Baptist Church of Myrick.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. C. Knight, Jr.; parents, McKinley Walters and Cynthia Nowell Walters; and brother, Norman Walters. Survivors include two sons, A. C. Knight, III and Mackie Knight both of Laurel; grandchildren, Thomas Knight (Kristi), Jesse Knight, Billy Knight (Kristy), and SSgt Robert Knight (Katie); and great grandchildren, Breckyn Bradshaw and Isaac Knight.
