Obituary for Audrey Windham Gatlin Audrey Windham Gatlin, born August 20, 1921, passed away on September 3, 2018 at the age of 97. Mrs. Gatlin was born in Jones County, MS to John W. Windham and Maggie Culpepper Windham. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Laurel.

She loved gardening, sewing, reading, and traveling worldwide with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maggie Windham; husband, Webber Gatlin; five brothers; seven sisters; son, Robert Gatlin; son-in-law, Woody Martin; and grandson, Scooter Martin. Survivors include four daughters, Gloria Jean Myrick (George) of Sevierville, TN, Joan Martin of Laurel, Barbara Sauls (Buddy) of Heidelberg, and Sylvia Tighe (Bowman) of Ridgeland; sister, Dorothy Lindsey of Laurel; grandchildren, Jeff Myrick, Gary Wayne Myrick, Mike Martin, Brian Martin, Tracy Sauls Mason, Adam Sauls, J. R. Gatlin, Tara Hallie Ware, and Stirling Tighe; thirteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dottie and her staff at Archer Personal Care Home for the excellent care of Mrs. Gatlin. Services will be held at Memory Chapel on Friday, September 7th. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be great grandsons, Jackson Myrick, Landon Martin, Brock Martin, Rylan Martin, Drew Mason, and Austin Myrick. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 506 Arley Williams Road, Heidelberg, MS 39439.
