Obituary for Mary Margaret Rogers Stone Mary Margaret Rogers Stone passed away on September 16, 2018 at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs at the age of 96. Mrs. Stone was born in Lucedale, MS on December 15, 1921. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Newton.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She also enjoyed flowers and cooking. Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lottie Mills Davis; husband, Cortel Rogers; and eight siblings.

She is survived by three sons, Ronald Rogers (Kathleen) of Lucedale, L. C. Rogers (Deb) of VA, and Ray Rogers (Kathy) of Rose Hill; two daughters, Fay Lofton (James) of Stringer and Ruth Meunier (Gilbert) of Stringer; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 20th at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS.
