Obituary for David Shehan David Shehan, age 60, passed away quietly in the early morning hours of Friday, September 28, 2018 of complications due to lung cancer. He was an oil field technician for Denbury Res, Inc. out of Heidelberg, MS for 23 years. Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel on Sunday, September 30th from 5 until 7 p.m. He will be laid to rest and funeral services will be held in his hometown of Bedford, Iowa where people there remember him by the name “Shoes” as he used to work for his mom’s shoe store when he was growing up.

David loved music and to play his guitar. He had a passion for traveling and enjoyed fishing and golf. Preceding David in death were his father, Robert Shehan; step-father, Clif Hanshaw; two brothers, John and Steve Shehan; two sisters, Susan and Janice Shehan, and a step-brother, Jim Hanshaw.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie; mother, Ethel Mae Hanshaw, age 92; and sisters, Joyce and Pat; his two sons, Phillip and Wesley; three daughters, Jessica, Ashley and Caitie; and eight grandchildren. To sign the online guest book, visit www. memorychapellaurel.com.
