Patsy Nell Cowley Patterson May 6, 1951 – February 4, 2019 Patsy Nell Cowley Patterson, born May 6, 1951 in Maud TX, passed from this life at Christus St Michaels Medical Plaza in Atlanta TX, Monday, February 4, 2019. She was 67 years old and resided in Rosehaven Resort of Atlanta TX. Patsy is preceded in death by her parents R. J. and Ima (Taylor) Cowley; son Richard James Obenoskey; brother Tommy Cowley; sister Linda Firth; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by daughters Lena Elliott and husband William of Bloomburg TX, and Crystal Sprawls and husband Michael of Atlanta TX; brothers Bradley Cowley and wife Toni of Maud TX, and Michael Cowley of Point TX; sisters Glenda Tidwell of Bogata TX, and Charline Waller of Hooks TX; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives. Patsy was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Bloomburg TX. She was a beloved mother and grandmother.

She was a great friend who loved life and everyone she knew. Her best friend was Johnny Jones who lives at Rosehaven Resort. She loved to fish, the outdoors, making others laugh, and flowers of any kind.

Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the world to her. Patsy will be cremated under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. Patsy’s memorial services will be held at a future date.
