Patti was born on February 17, 1952 in Tipton, Indiana to Paul and Peggy Wright Stringer. Patti was a graduate of Tipton High School and was a 1982 graduate of Indiana University in Kokomo with her degree in business.

Patti was the store manager at the Val store in Tipton and then Alco for over 30 years prior to the store closing. She then worked at Millers Merry Manor in Tipton. In her spare time she enjoyed trips to Michigan and other travels.

Patti was a very giving person, she treasured the time spent with her family and was always going out of her way to help others. Survivors include her children; Michel (Angela) Bess, Steven (Tammy) Bess, and Paula (Eric) Juday along with her grand children; Levi, Chase, Andrew, Keighan, Jessica, Levi, Caleb, Brooklyn, Kacie and great grandchildren; Owen, Rielynn, Easton, Wesley, and Aaron. Other survivors include her siblings; Cindie Million, Mickie Kerfoot, Paula Adair, David Wright, Bob Wright, Rick Wright and several nieces & nephews.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents and her longtime companion, Dave Douglas. The family will receive friends from 4 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Porter Funeral Home located at 726 East North Street in Tipton. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 7 PM following the visitation time.

This will be a time of eulogizing and sharing fond memories of Patti.
