Obituary for Pauline (Grandbois) Zup Pauline (Grandbois) Zup, 88, of Kensington, widow of Harold W. Zup, passed away Sunday (April 29, 2018) at Amberwoods of Farmington. Born in Bristol, Pauline was a former New Britain resident moving to Kensington over 60 years ago. She was employed at New Britain General Hospital as a Transportation Aide and worked at the front desk for 22 years, retiring in 1994.

Pauline was a member of St. Paul Church in Kensington. Surviving is a son, Michael Zup and his wife Yasmi of Hebron; four daughters, Nancy Saraceno and her husband Daniel of Forestville; Karen Zup of Kensington; Joanne Papallo of Meriden; and Carol Zup-Kulak and her husband Chuck of Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother, Roger Grandbois and his wife Arlene of Bristol; a sister, Delores Cushing and her husband Edward of Seekonk, MA; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Pauline was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Schaefer.

Calling hours are Friday 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM at St. Paul Church, 479 Alling Street, Kensington. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. Donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Disease Association, 20-0 Executive Blvd, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
