Obituary for Michael J. Forbotnick Michael J. Forbotnick, 75, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 in the peaceful presence of his family. Michael was born on June 21, 1943 in West Hartford, CT. and moved to New Britain, CT, where he resided for his whole life.

Michael was an avid sports fan who loved the Red Sox and Patriots. He also loved taking trips to the casino and was a huge Elvis fan. Michael is survived by his four children: Jay Forbotnick and his wife Anne, Bob Forbotnick and his wife Lynne, Lisa Lopez and her family, and Lori Keller and her husband Chris and his beloved brother, Frank Forbotnick.

Michael was predeceased by his loving wife, Maryann Forbotnick, in December 2008. He will be greatly missed by his ten grandchildren and his three great-grandchildren, who he loved dearly. Michael was an amazing dad and a loving grandfather.

Funeral rites for Mr. Forbotnick will be held Friday, July 27, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. with the procession departing at 9 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave. , New Britain, CT. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 101 North St., New Britain, CT.

Committal service and final resting place will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT.
