Obituary for Bernice (Charette) Manganello Bernice (Charette) Manganello, 87, of New Britain, widow of Santo Manganello, passed away Monday (December 2, 2018) at Autumn Lake in New Britain. Born in Fort Kent, Maine, she was a former resident of Torrence, CA for 60 years, moving to New Britain in 2011. Bernice was a secretary in Aircraft Industry for many years, while living in California.

Surviving is her sister-in-law, Carol Charette of New Britain; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Santo, she was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Donald Charette; and four sisters, Eva Dauphin, Bertha Roy, Rita Charette Derosier and Dorothy Beaulieu. Private burial was held at Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford.
