Obituary for Darrell L. Johnson Darrell Johnson, 72, of Holland, MA, husband of Donna (Lupo) Johnson passed away Thursday (July 5, 2018) at Hartford Hospital. Born in New Britain, he was a resident of Farmington for 20 years before moving to Holland. A graduate of New Britain High School, class of 1964, he received a Bachelor’s Degree from Parsons College in Iowa.

Darrell had his teacher’s certification and had earned 30 plus hours towards his Master’s. He was an elementary school teacher in New Hartford at the Ann Antolini School for 15 years and later was a self-employed business owner. Besides his loving wife, Donna of 46 years, he leaves a son, Scott Johnson and his wife Jennifer of Rocky Hill; a daughter, Jeanna Sinn and her husband Jeffry of Avon; a sister, Janet Schroeder of Kensington; 2 grandchildren, Colton and Boden Sinn; several nieces and nephews.

Darrell had an immeasurable impact on his family and those fortunate enough to know him well. His most blissful times were sharing experiences with family at his lake house in Holland where his broad, booming smile was always on display. He leaves behind a family who loved and cherished the time they had with him.

Calling Hours are Sunday 4 to 6PM at Carlson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3 Landmark Square #330, Stamford, CT 06901 (www. LLS.org).
