Obituary for Felipe “Coco” Martinez Sr It is with great sadness that the Martinez family announces the death of the patriarch of the family Felipe Martinez Sr. on Tuesday July 3 2018 . Felipe is survived by his children Felipe Martinez Jr of New Britain Robert Martinez of Orlando Florida Wilson and wife Leslie of New Britain also Lillian Velez of New Britain Elizabeth and her husband Rafael Velez of Orlando Florida and Janira Martinez and 3 sisters Elba ,Nereida,and Olga and a brother Alfredo all of New Britain he had 18 grandchildren Michelle Martinez of Bridgeport; Jeff and his wife Lauren Fernandez of FL; Stacey and husband Danny Fernandez of FL; Robert Martinez Jr and wife Pricilla of FL; Desiree Martinez of FL; Brandon Martinez of FL; Deniz Martinez of FL; Wilson Martinez Jr of FL; Christene and husband Andre of FL; Jovanny Martinez of New Britain; Kaitlyn and Isiah Lawson, both of New Britain; Michael Velez of FL; Janet Velez of FL; Beatriz Velez of Arizona; Jessica Velez of New Britain; Eric Colon of New Britain; Destiny Serra of New Britain; Samantha Castro of New Britain; Nathan Castro of New Britain He also has 25 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He is pre-deceased by his parents Juan Martinez and Raphaela Cruz and his wife of 50 years Santa Martinez also a sister Mary Silva and grandson Daniel Martinez We will be honoring his life Saturday July 8 2018 @ Carlson Funeral home 45 Franklin Sq. New Britain, CT 06051 from 5-7 pm. The Family would like to thank the special aids and nurses that took care of him day in and day out Thank you so much.
