Pearl Mae Collins July 8, 1925 – January 10, 2019 Pearl Mae Collins, age 93, of Nappanee, went to be with her Savior at 9:56 pm, Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Goshen General Hospital. She was born July 8, 1925 in Detroit, MI to Richard and Lenna (Moore) Reilly. Mrs. Collins spent most of her life in Nappanee after moving here from Detroit in 1944.

On July 27, 1946, she married Alfred Collins in Nappanee. He preceded in death April 3, 1989. She had worked at Shultz Dime Store and as a receptionist at Lee Dallas and Associates, both in Nappanee.

Pearl was a member of the Nappanee United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, traveling, walking, and collecting dolls. She had also bowled in the Wednesday Morning Coffee League.

Surviving are her daughters, Bonnie (Randy) Croy, Nappanee, Coleen (John) Darrenkamp, Goshen ; stepsons, John (Jane) Collins, Elkhart, Richard Collins, Union, MI; grandchildren, Rod, Craig, Todd, Dustin, Shelly, Natalie, Michele, Bobbi; step grandchildren, great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; and step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter; a step granddaughter; step daughter, Sally Trine; sister, Mary Jane Kessens ; and brothers, Richard “Dick” and Robert “Bob” Reilly. Family and friends may call from 11 – 1, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Nappanee United Methodist Church, followed by Funeral Services at 1:00 pm.

Rev. Kevin Reed will officiate. Memorial contributions may be given to Nappanee United Methodist Church or Nappanee EMS.
