Perfecto’s Obituary Perfecto Lopez, 87, of Pilot Point, TX, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 in Denton, TX. Perfecto was born April 18, 1931 in New Braunfels, TX to Gavino and Julia (Ortiz) Lopez. He married Evangelina Garza on December 27, 1952 in McKinney, TX.

Perfecto was currently retired and had previously worked as a foreman in the ranching business. Perfecto is survived by two sons, Gavino (Carlos) Lopez of Aubrey, TX and Oscar Lopez of Pilot Point, TX; daughter, Edna Cox of Whitesboro, TX; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Perfecto was preceded in death by his wife, Evangelina; parents, Gavino and Julia Lopez; daughter, Diana Phillips; granddaughter, Angela Lopez; brothers, Rumaldo Lopez, Zaragosa Lopez and Domingo Lopez; and sisters, Andrea Hernandez, Margarita Coronado, Fidencia Castillo, Dominga Cantu, Magdalene Ortiz, Florencia Badillo, Juanita Ramirez, and Norberta Lopez.

Visitation will be held 9:00 AM-10:00AM, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Slay Memorial Chapel of Aubrey in Aubrey, TX. A funeral service will follow at 10:00AM with Rev. John Theisen officiating.

Burial will be at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX. Online condolences may be shared at www. slaymemorialfuneralhome.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center.
