Phillip’s Obituary Phillip Junior “Gabby” Albertson, 61, of rural Scottsburg, IN, passed away at his home on January 27, 2019. Born May 4, 1957 in Scottsburg, IN, he was the son of Phillip Albertson and Lula (Marion) Albertson, who are both deceased. Junior loved and adored his mother “Tootsie”.

Gabby was a 1976 Salem High School graduate. He was a big I.U. fan and listened to all their sporting events on the radio. He enjoyed reading informational books, collecting stamps, playing card games, hunting, and fishing.

While Gabby was known for being very eccentric, he was the sweetest, kind caring, giving, and loving person anyone would have ever known. He also savored talking about all his life adventures and coming up with new ideas and inventions. Most of all he loved taking care of and being with all of his dogs, loving them all like family, especially Cookie, J Bird, Brown Dog, and Mama dog, they all had a special place in his heart.

Survivors include, 1 brother, Harold Albertson of Scottsburg, IN, 3 sisters, Leatha Kay (Harry) Black of Salem, IN, Shirley Lee of Salem, IN, Annette Graff of Crothersville, IN, a lifelong friend, Luther Fleenor of Scottsburg, IN, numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Virginia Laraway, Irving Alsup, Carl Thomas, Harold Alsup, Flossie Denton, Annabell Cravens, Harlen Albertson, and Vern Albertson. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Scottsburg with cremation to follow.
