Obituary for R. Scott Dove R. Scott Dove, of Rockwall, TX, passed away July 29, 2018, at the age of 50. He was born September 9, 1967, in Dallas, TX, to Jerry and Linda (Luck) Dove. Scott was self-employed as a general contractor for 20 years.

Known as a tinkerer, he was always working on something. He loved to build things, take them apart and put them back together again. This included working on his 1972 Corvette, which he truly enjoyed.

Always friendly, Scott never met a stranger. He was a great man and an amazing son, husband, father, and PawPaw. Scott will be missed tremendously and remembered always.

Scott is survived by his loving wife of 24 years: Lisa Dove; children: Allison Chappell and Blake Dove; grandson: Dylan Maples; parents: Jerry and Linda Dove; brother: Chris Dove; sister: Susan Epting and husband Tommy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins along with a host of loving relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his aunt: “Sissy;” and maternal and paternal grandparents. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.

A gathering for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location, beginning at 12:00pm.
