Obituary for Philip “Phil” Miller Philip “Phil” Harral Miller, a 48 year resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away July 6, 2018, at the age of 81. He was born March 21, 1937, in Tyler, TX, to Harral and Daisey (Kubala) Miller. Phil was an enthusiastic member of the First United Methodist Church of Rockwall and attended the J.E. Wilson Sunday school class.

He was also a member of the Rockwall County A&M Club, Dallas Area Parkinson’s Society and a founding member of the Rockwall County Y.M.C.A. Phil was passionate about travel and supporting Texas A&M University. He was skilled in woodworking and stained glass.

Philip is survived by his loving wife and sweetheart of 52 years: Marion Miller; children: Amanda “Mindye” Piepenburg and husband David and Alex Miller and wife Lindsay; grandchildren: Milia Piepenburg, Calvin Piepenburg, Max Piepenburg, Matheson Miller, Berkley Miller, and Sawyer Miller; the extended Faulkner family and his loving caretaker and friend Maria Guevara. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held 10:30am Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at First United Methodist Church, 1200 E Yellow Jacket Ln, Rockwall, TX, 75087 with Dr. Joe Pool officiating.

A private family interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park at a later time. A gathering for family and friends will be held Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location. As an alternative to flowers, the family requests that memorials in Phil’s name be made to the FUMC Rockwall Building Fund (1200 E. Yellow Jacket Ln.
