Obituary for Barry Floyd Buchanan Barry Floyd Buchanan, 58, of Campbell, passed away July 7, 2018 after his battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 9, 1959, in Plainview, to Gerald Taylor and Dorothy Lee (Duke) Buchanan.

Barry was a member of Oasis Church in Caddo Mills. Barry is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Lisa Buchanan of Campbell; mother, Dorothy Buchanan of Plainview; children, Weston Buchanan and wife Priscilla of Colorado Springs, Colo. , Lorraine Seiber and husband Kyle of Alamogordo, N.M., Larissa Van Der Vyver and husband Jessie of Kansas City, Mo.

, and Tiffany Buchanan of Campbell; and granddaughters, Emaline Buchanan and Arianna Seiber; along with many relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Zane Andrew Buchanan, and father, Gerald T. Buchanan. Barry was a compassionate, kind-hearted servant who loved the Lord.

He never met a stranger and would pray for you then and there. He loved his family and enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling the world with them. He enjoyed riding his horses, gardening, reading, learning and teaching his children.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Oasis Church Caddo Mills, 3387 I-30, Caddo Mills, TX 75135. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering for family and friends will be held at the church one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00am.
