Together Again! Our loving father, Ralph Lemoine Jackson was reunited with his sweetheart on March 14, 2019. He was born on July 4, 1933 to Ephraim and Ludia Jackson.

He was the first of 5 children, and was a great elder brother to Dennie, Larry, Errol and Karen. Some of his footsteps included Ephraim, Manti, Box Elder County and Ogden, Utah. He met the love of his life, June Mary Watkins, and was sealed to her on September 28, 1953 in the Salt Lake City Temple.

He graduated from Ogden High School and participated in the ROTC program. He served in the Army in the Korean War. He worked at HAFB for a short time and then went to work for the Utah Highway Patrol and served there until he retired.

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in many callings including the scouting program where he devoted countless hours. He lived a life of service. One of his greatest pleasures was exploring any and every (dirt) road he could find, especially Ghost Towns.

He cherished spending time with his family at his property in Lava Hot Springs. His greatest love, side by side with his sweetheart, was his family. Nothing brought him greater joy than to be surrounded by his family.

His children are: Roelene (Therin) Taylor, Curtiss (Candy) Jackson, Kyle Jackson, Sherri Jackson, Lennie (Brenda) Jackson, Shelley (Michael) Craig, JaNine (Dan) Kurek, DeLayne (Joanna) Jackson, Kelly (Belinda) Jackson, Terry (Andreah) Jackson and Tracy Jackson. He left behind a large posterity including 43 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren, with 3 more on the way…that we know of, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents and a daughter Daria.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the 20th Ward building, 575 E 3100 N, North Ogden with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. There will also be a viewing Tuesday, March 19th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the same ward building. Interment will be held at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden, following the funeral, where Military Honors will be accorded. Many thanks to our new friends on the 3rd floor of McKay Dee Hospital.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of our father take your family for a ride and get some vanilla ice cream and a hamburger without pickles.
