Raymond Oscar Hellberg, 87, of Burlington, died at 5:40 am Monday, November 19, 2018, at the Burlington Care Center in Burlington. Born June 1, 1928, in East St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Harry and Edna Knoll Hellberg. He married Naomi Louise in Peoria, Illinois on January 22, 2001.

Raymond worked in maintenance for Bradley University. Raymond was of the Lutheran faith. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #579.

He enjoyed watching wrestling, cop shows, long walks and in his younger years playing baseball. Raymond loved dancing and would even dance while he was in the nursing home. Survivors include son, Gary Hellberg of New London, IA, daughter, Roxanne (Lee) Webber of Chilton, WI, daughter, Diana Barnes of Mount Pleasant, IA, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, sister, Rosemary Romine of Davenport, IA, several nieces and nephews, half brother, Bill Wilke of Burlington, IA.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his four brothers and two sisters. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory. There will be no visitation or services.
