Obituary for Reba Bange Reba (Tipton) Bange, age 82, of Erwin, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 7, 2018. A native of Erwin, Reba is the daughter of the late Zeke and Lucy (Miller) Tipton. She was a member of Erwin Bible Holiness Church, where she was active in children’s ministry and outreach.

Reba was a loving, Christian woman who is deeply loved by her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was very talented with crafts and sewing. In addition to her parents, Reba is preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Jack C. Bange, Sr.; daughter, Gina Sharon Edwards; sister, Sally (Tipton) Rollo; and brother, Herbert Tipton.

Reba has left behind to cherish her memories: Children: Terri Williams and husband, Paul, of Jonesborough, Jack C. Bange, Jr., of Erwin, Mona Woods, of Johnson City, Tamara Coomer, of Erwin, Shay Bange, Erwin; Son-in-law: Clyde Edwards; Twelve grandchildren; A host of great-grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life Reba with a service to be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home, with. Reverend Otis Banks officiating.

Musical selections will be provided by three grandchildren: Joel Woods, Santiva Edwards and Brytin Edwards. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 12:00 PM on Sunday and will continue until the hour of service in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. A committal service will follow the funeral service on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in Tinker Cemetery.

Those attending will meet at Valley Funeral Home for the 2:00 PM service to go in procession. Pallbearers will be selected from friends and family. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family and viewed at www.
