Mrs. Rebecca Elaine Gladden Davis, 95, wife of the late Forrest Mallory Davis, Jr. and a resident of Onancock, VA, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at The Hermitage on the Eastern Shore in Onancock. Born January 17, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John Randolph Gladden and Sarah Elizabeth Downing Gladden. A graveside funeral service will be held at the Davis Family Cemetery, Glebe Farm, in Davis Wharf, VA, on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with The Reverend Scott Davis, officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home, 12 Kerr Street, after 12:30 p.m. following the service, including anyone unable to attend the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Market Street United Methodist Church, 75 Market Street, Onancock, VA 23417, or to The Hermitage on the Eastern Shore Employee Fund, 23610 North Street, Onancock, VA 23417.
