BECKY LEPPER Mrs. Rebecca E. “Becky” Lepper, 77, of Payson, Illinois, passed away at 4:56 a.m. Tuesday (October 23, 2018) in the home of her daughter in Liberty. Born October 31, 1940 in Quincy, Becky was the daughter of Elmer and Gladys Doran McMullen. She married Robert W. Lepper on May 31, 1958 in Plainville, Illinois.

He preceded her in death on January 27, 2007. Becky was an avid reader and enjoyed embroidery, crossword puzzles, arts and crafts, hunting for antiques and adding to her collection of teddy bears and salt and pepper shakers. Becky enjoyed being with her family and cherished the time she shared with her only granson whom she nicknamed “my buddy”.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Barry (Kevin) of Liberty, IL; her grandson, Zachary Barry of Liberty, IL; an aunt, Margie McMullen of Quincy; two sisters in law, Shirley Lepper and Jackie Marvin; and her very close friends, Don and Darlene Schaffer of Payson. Becky was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and two brothers in law, Melvin Lepper and Eugene Marvin. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy with Pastor Terry Henry officiating.

Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 and Saturday morning from 9:30 until the time of services at the funeral home in Quincy. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice, Camp Callahan or the Shriner’s Childrens Hospital.
