Richard C. “Dick” Raup, 68, Watsontown, formerly of the Muncy Hills area, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his home. Born June 30, 1950 in Watsontown, he was the son of the late Domer A. and Mildred E. (Sharr) Raup Dick served with the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a life member of the VFW Post in Muncy and the American Legion Post in Watsontown. He had been employed at Muncy Homes, Jasper Wood Products and then at Masonite for many years.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Milisa and Gifford Houser, III of Hughesville; a grandson, Dennis Houser and his wife Miranda; a great-grandson, Logan Houser; and two brothers: Ronald L. “Butch” Raup and his wife Glenetta of Salladasburg and Dale A. “Pete” Raup of New Columbia, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death besides his parents was a sister, Mary Ellen Greene. A private graveside service with full military honors will be held at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
