Obituary of Richard Clement Richard S. Clement, 75, Marion, went to be with the Lord at 4:35 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on November 15, 1942, to the late Walter and Ruth (Richardson) Clement. In 1979, Richard married Laura Walton.

They had seven children. He served in the U.S. Army and, following his military career, was a supervisor in the shipping department at Fisher Body in Marion. Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Laura; children, Dessiray Cusic, Houston, Texas, Sean Warren, Peru, Christopher Warren, Peru, Mia Burney, Marion, Mario (Angel) Clement, Marion, and Crystal Clement, Marion; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Also preceding him in death were his daughter, Ericka Clement, and brothers, Walter Clement and Rudolph Clement. The family will receive visitors from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Grace Missionary Baptist Church, 2409 S. Nebraska St., Marion, IN. Immediately following visitation, services to celebrate Richard’s life will begin at 2 p.m. with burial following at Grant Memorial Park.
