Ricky Lee Fisher, 54, died on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Theresa (Beck) Fisher, sharing 32 years of marriage. Ricky was born in York on July 29, 1964, son of the late James Richard and Virginia Rose (Morthland) Fisher.

Ricky graduated from West York High School, Class of 1982. He was a member of Arlington E.C. Church in Red Lion where he had formerly served on the Board of Trustees. He was a CPR and first aid instructor for the American Red Cross for three years.

He worked for the family business, Fisher’s Restaurant, and most recently was the front office administrator for Dr. E. Glenn Friedman in East York. Ricky loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. In addition to his wife, Ricky is survived by two sons, Christopher L. Fisher of Elizabethtown and Justin E. Fisher of Middletown; four grandchildren, Alyssa Hileman, Xavier Fisher, Kylie Lyter, and Karsyn Fisher; a brother, James R. Fisher, Jr. of Dover; a sister, Marlene L. Cleveland of Hanover; and his step mother, Pat Friedman.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York, with the Rev. Sterling I. Trimmer officiating. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, to help defray funeral expenses, can be sent to Christopher Fisher, 56 Cranfield Court, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York, PA 17403.
