Obituary for Rita Noakes Rita Noakes, 76, a longtime Wenatchee, WA, resident, passed away on May 27, 2018. She was born on May 19, 1942, in Leavenworth, WA, to George and Ellen Hodgen. Rita leaves a great legacy of family and the many lives she has touched and influenced with her kind, gentle spirit, generous nature, and quick wit.
She loved to watch her Mariners and Seahawks play. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, George and Ellen Hodgen; brother, Bill Hodgen; and sisters: Norma Frazier, Virginia Howard, and Dorothy Colvert. She is survived by sons: Tony Noakes (Wanda) of Cameron, TX, Chris Noakes of Spokane, WA; her daughters, Tina Bailey (Richard) of Royal City, WA, Julie Noakes of Las Vegas, NV, Cindy Jenkins (Scott) of Hurst, TX, and Jenny Davidson of Cashmere, WA; sisters, Betty Custer of Leavenworth, WA, JoAnne Taylor of Leavenworth, WA, and Joyce Hobbs of Cashmere, WA; brother, Jim Hodgen of Spokane, WA; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
