Robert O. Perkins, 83, passed away October 16, 2018 at the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home in Middleboro after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Beverly E. (Bangs) Perkins. Born October 24, 1934 in Brockton he was the son of the late Frank Hall and Ethel (Newsome) Perkins.

Robert was educated in Brockton Schools and attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. He had lived in Lakeville, MA for 30 years and worked for the National Cash Register Company for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

He was a 30 year member of the Meeting House Church in Middleboro where he was active in the church food pantry. He was also a member of the Elks and an active member of the Middleboro YMCA. He also volunteered delivering Meals On Wheels and was very active volunteering in the Community.

He is survived by 5 children Robert O. Perkins, Jr. and his wife Paula, Deborah J. Moser and her husband Paul, Christine Carroll and her husband Christopher, Jacqueline Theriault and her husband Joseph and Thomas F. Perkins and his wife Mary; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and a sister Betty Gilson and her husband Robert. He was also the brother of the late Frank E. Perkins and his late wife Geraldine. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Meeting House Church, 3 Nickerson Ave, Middleboro, MA 02346.
