Robert T. Musico January 19, 1955 – May 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Robert “Pop Pop” Torbitt Musico, 63, of Oswego, passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2019 at Upstate Hospital in Syracuse. Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late James E. Sr. and (Lela) Torbitt Musico. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Enterprise, then served in the National Army Reserves / National Guard, with over 30 years combined.

He retired from the State of New York in March 2018 as Superintendent of Central New York Armories. Bob enjoyed golfing, boating, camping and traveling with his family. Most of all spending his time with “baby girl” his one and only granddaughter, Charley, the love of his life.

Surviving are two sons, John (Katie) Musico of Oswego; Matthew (Darcy) Musico of Oswego; two brothers James Musico of Arkansas; William Musico of Oswego; four sisters Constance (Richard) Fry of Georgia; Gloria J. Musico of Florida; Mary Lou LaGoe and Joann Musico both of Oswego, his beloved granddaughter Charley Jean Randall Musico; many nieces and nephews; and very close family friend Patrick Dixon. He was predeceased by his brothers James Musico and Thomas Musico. Calling hours will be held 1-4PM Sunday June 2nd at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St. Oswego.

Funeral Services will be held 10AM Monday at Christ the Good Shepard of St. Mary’s Church. Entombment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude’s Children Research.
